What is IMEI/MEID/ESN?
The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), the MEID (Mobile Equipment Identifier), or ESN (Electronic Serial Number) is a specific number that identifies a cell phone in the United States. Cell phone networks use this identifier to provide service to the phone. Your phone may not have an ESN, then it will show as the IMEI or MEID.
To locate your IMEI/MEID/ESN number, take a look at our guide to finding your IMEI/MEID/ESN on your Android Phone or finding your IMEI/MEID/ESN on your iPhone. Once it is located you can check if your phone is compatible with the Bring Your Own Phone program.
