How can Q Link Wireless help me through the pandemic?
Q Link Wireless gives those in need the opportunity to thrive as we move through unprecedented times by offering Americans UNLIMITED FREE data, talk, and text through the EBB program.
Who qualifies for the EBB Program?
You are qualified for the EBB program through participation in the same government programs as Lifeline like: SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), Medicaid, SSI (Supplemental Security Income), Federal Public Housing Assistance, Veterans Survivors Pension Benefits Fund, and more.
Additionally, you are eligible if your household income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty level, or if you are unemployed. You must confirm your spot to participate in this program.
Am I required to sign up for EBB if I am already enrolled in Lifeline?
No, you are not obligated to enroll in the EBB Program. However, to receive UNLIMITED data, talk, and text you must enroll.
Is Q Link Wireless the only EBB provider?
No, customers can receive EBB benefits from a different provider and continue to use Q Link Wireless solely for their Lifeline service.
Customers receiving EBB benefits through Q Link Wireless can decide to switch to a different provider to receive EBB. However, if they decide to switch back to Q Link Wireless again they will not be eligible to receive another tablet.
How to sign-up for the EBB Program:
If you are already receiving Lifeline service through Q Link Wireless log into your account and opt in to the EBB program. Customers can also opt in using the informational emails and texts they are sent about the program.
If you are a new customer, create a Q Link Wireless Account and confirm your eligibility.
When does the EBB Program end?
The EBB program will end after the Public Health Emergency no longer exists, or as deemed by the FCC. We will notify all customers of any changes to the program as they happen.
Once the EBB program has ended all plans will revert to the standard Lifeline plan offered at that time. Customers may also choose to keep the UNLIMITED plan, however, they will be subject to all standard rates.
Why am I getting a new tablet?
As part of the EBB program device discount, eligible Q Link Wireless customers will receive a new tablet equipped with webcam, microphone, and Wi-Fi capability. This is a limited-time offer that is subject to product availability.
Only one device discount can be applied to participating customers. See Terms and Conditions for more details about the device discount.
The FCC requires Q Link Wireless to create an invoice of $10.01 as a form of payment for the tablet. The invoice will be sent to customers AFTER their tablet is shipped and delivered.
When will I get my new tablet?
We are currently shipping tablets. Be on the lookout for an email with your order’s tracking details.
What happens after I opt into the EBB program?
By opting in, Q Link Wireless will collect, use, and share your personal information with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) to verify your eligibility in the EBB program and to ensure proper administration of the EBB service and/or connected device benefits.
