To unlock your phone from your current provider, there are a few requirements you need to meet. Please review the following guidelines.

As of the published date of these Terms and Conditions (03/12/2022), Excess Telecom does not impose device locks on its network.

  1. The device must be designed for use on the Excess Telecom network.
  2. The device must not be reported as lost or stolen.
  3. The device must not be associated with fraudulent activity.


To unlock your phone by calling the carrier, you can follow these instructions:

  1. Request an Unlock Code: Inform the Customer Support representative that you need an unlock code for your locked device.
  2. Verify Device Eligibility: Provide necessary details about your device, such as the make, model, and IMEI number, to determine if your device meets the requirements for unlocking.
  3. Obtain Unlock Instructions: If your device is eligible and an unlock code can be obtained from the device manufacturer, Excess Telecom will provide you with instructions on how to unlock your device.
  4. Follow the Unlocking Steps: Follow the provided instructions carefully to unlock your device. This may involve entering the unlock code or performing specific actions on your device.
